Summary of message:

Who we are as a BCM can be summarized in the phrase Christ-led disciples making disciples. Everything we do and who we are flows out of us seeking to be led by Christ and to obey Christ by making disciples. Our goals for the BCM this year are that: 1) We grow in our faith and walk with Christ in and through community. 2) Everyone learns how to read, understand, and interpret the Bible for themselves. 3) We are faithful to the Lord in making His name known on campus. The goal is that everyone who steps foot on campus hears the gospel and is given the opportunity to place their faith in Jesus as their Lord and Savior.

Last night we looked at a brief introduction and background of Acts. We examined Acts 1:8; 2:42-47; and 8:26-35 and discussed the major themes of Acts which these verses show. We talked about the importance in obeying Christ and the leading of the Holy Spirit in making disciples of all nations as well as the importance and blessing of genuine biblical community.
