Can Drive Details -
-This will be a week-long event right before Confluence (September 20-24)
-This year, we will do a “raffle” can drive for Operation Lunchbox, which serves 22 Georgia Counties. Each day that you bring in a certain amount of one of the following food categories, you will receive a raffle ticket (as of now, there is no decided ticket limit).
-Categories: Canned chicken (1 cans/ticket), grits (1 tickets/box), ramen noodles (1 ticket/5 ramen packets), oatmeal (1 tickets/box), cereal (1 tickets/box; 1 ticket/2 small boxes), pop-tarts (1 tickets/box), chips (1 ticket/large bag; 1 ticket per 2 small bags)
-Remember - the goal of this is to provide diverse food options that Operation Lunchbox requested. AKA - don’t just buy a bunch of ramen, pick out something you would like to eat as I am sure the kids would enjoy that more!
-3-4 raffle winners will be drawn, and the Service Action Team will cook them a “fancy” meal of their collective choice!
Talk to Catarina Cutter if you have any questions!
