The community action team seeks to create a culture at the BCM centered around Christ’s love and the unity we have as a body of believers. This will involve leading by example in creating this community as well as planning events and gatherings.

"I feel that community’s goal should always be to promote a unified body of Christ because that is what He called us to do (1 Corinthians 12:13). However, I think it’s important to remember how Christ modeled that. The night before His crucifixion, He ate a meal with His disciples, and we call that the last supper (Matthew 26:17-28). And I think it’s important to remember that Jesus dined with all of His disciples that evening. Judas, who already betrayed Him. Peter, who would deny Him 3 times the next day. And John, the only disciple who would show up at His crucifixion. He loved all of His disciples unconditionally and equally, and this is what I want our BCM community to look like next year."
